The book Livingstone – Fifty Years After was written by Henry Walton and published in 1925 by Hutchinson & Co. Henry was a special correspondent of the Daily Telegraph newspaper and a member of the expedition team that filmed Livingstone on location in Africa. Christian’s step-father Marmaduke Wetherell was the film’s producer, director and leading actor.
